The fight against genital mutilation requires a great deal of sensitivity and education on the part of all those involved, i.e. men in particular. We have to convince fathers that it is better for their daughters to go to school than to become mothers at a young age. Through sponsorship, we can oblige parents to refrain from mutilating their daughter.
